What’s our payment policy?
We ask for 50% of the total amount due at the time of booking and 50% six weeks before arrival
What's our cancellation policy?
We refund all amounts paid if cancelled before 60 days of arrival and 50% if cancelled within 4 weeks of arrival. Any cancellation after this date receives no refund.
Do we need to hire a car?
It is not essential to book a car when staying at Illyria. The taxi service on Brac is good and buses are regular. You can hire a car for the day in Postira.
Is Illyria child friendly?
Children should be able to swim. The sea is very close and the terrace is open to the sea.
Do you cater for babies?
We provide a cot but please ask for this before you arrive.
Is it safe to swim from Illyria?
Yes, the sea deepens gradually from the rocks in front of the terrace
Is parking nearby to Illyria?
Yes, there is ample public parking to the left of Illyria.
Can I take tours of Brac and local sightseeing venues when staying at Illyria?
Yes, we use the services of Gecko tours, Split, who are very good. They will provide tours of Brac and many venues on the mainland.
Illyria sleeps 8 people but how comfortable is the sofa-bed?
The sofa-bed is high quality and comfortable
Do you accept pet dogs?
We do, but dogs must be well behaved and we ask that they do not sit on the furniture
Do you accept smoking?
Smoking should be restricted to the outside area.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes, the property comes with a fully services washing machine. Clothes dry very quickly on the terrace.
Do you provide towels?
We provide all house towels but not beach towels.
How about cleaning?
We clean the house once a week and always between stays. If guests would like more cleaning this can be provided at cost to the guest.
Can you arrange a pick up from the airport?
Yes, we can provide an airport pick up and delivery to Split port. The ferries run between Split and Supetar frequently in the Summer months - about every 90 minutes and taking about 50 mins. Taxis are plentiful at the port-side for a 20 min drive to Illyria. You can book and pay for this on the following link: Airport pick up and drop off
For those with deeper pockets and in search of that James Bond arrival - we can arrange a speedboat pick up at the airport and delivery to Postira marina. The house is just a 5 min walk away!
What about local amenities?
The many shops, restaurants and bars of Postira are less than a 10 minute walk from Illyria. Postira has a fishmarket, a number of fully stocked grocery stores and a butchers.
In summer months, the delightful Kaktus Konoba serves delicious spit roast lamb and freshly cooked fish plus they make some great wine!
